Fish's Eddy Student Dishware Illustration Competition: Third Place Winner
Every year, a NYC dish and houseware company called Fish's Eddy comes to the Communications Design department at Pratt Institute with a competition for students to create an illustration to be printed on dishware to be sold in the Union Square store.
The theme was simply "Politics" and since Occupy Wall Street was happening at the time I illustrated a series of typical Ny
characters with blank signs that could be filled in with a chalk pen. Since there were so many different issues being brought up
at Occupy I thought it fitting to let the consumer decide what they wanted to protest on their morning coffee or cookie jar.
